Free Expat Event: Thai Festival in Budapest, 13 September
Authentic Thai music, traditional dance and a taste of the country’s distinctive dishes will be on offer again at the annual festival of Thailand in Hungary, this year held at Sirály Promenade in Buda.

Visitors can see live cooking demonstrations, traditional Thai dance and a Muay Thai demonstration. The programme also features Thai lifestyle products, traditional Thai massage and Thailand-themed quizzes.

The opening ceremony takes place at 11am, and a lucky draw at 5pm gives one visitor the chance to win a return flight to Thailand.

Throughout the festival a variety of popular Thai dishes and regional specialities will be available to buy. Participating restaurants include TomYum Thai, Rim Thanonh, Khraw Pak Thai, Kao Niaw Ping Kai and PIT Restobar.

Live entertainment continues with a live concert by a guitarist, followed by a DJ set and a Thai mini concert.

The free event takes place outdoors in Budapest’s 12th district - the venue is easily accessible by public transport, with several bus and tram services stopping nearby.

Address:
Sirály Promenade in front of MOMkult
1124 Budapest, Csörsz utca 18.
