BCCH Event: 'Big Ben's 150th Anniversary', Corinthia Hotel, 15 June 2009

Big Ben is one of London's iconic landmarks - so much so that it was named Britain's favourite in a 2008 poll. This evening was to celebrate its 150th anniversary and the arrival of summer with British specialities - including a summer classic, strawberries and cream.

Guests tested their Big Ben knowledge in a quiz for great prizes, including a plane ticket for two to London, kindly offered by easyJet, various prizes from the Corinthia, and teas from the Big Ben teahouse.

Food, drinks, and a chocolate-covered Big Ben model were courtesy of the hotel, while the delicious teas were provided by the Big Ben Teahouse.
