Xpats Stir Up A Soup To Help Hungry Homeless In Hungary
Those folks at Caledonia Scottish Pub don’t mind doing a bit of care in the community. And this year is already no different.
On a freezing cold night staff and friends of the Cali got together with The British Ambassador and his wife Bridget to prepare some more than welcome winter warming soups for the homeless of Budapest.
In the blink of the eye the team of happy helpers managed to put together without any spillage, over three hundred hot meals to be delivered over the city during the night by the noble Ákos of “Age of Hope”.
There’s also a big thank you to Tesco’s for the food they donated which will come in handy for the next batches to be sent out. If anyone wants to donate or help; red lentils, barley, potatoes and beef please contact Patrick McMenamin or Zsuzsa Bozó and I’m sure they will be happy to see you…
