A lot has happened in 13 years, the details I won’t go into but now I moved from Buda / Balaton to Pest and I’m joint owner of a real estate agency here in Budapest. Clarke and White Kft. has been around since 2015 and looking to expand into other parts of Europe, with the waters of Portugal and Italy already tested.

2. On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are you with your life in Hungary, and why?

I’m a 9 at these days, life is good. I do get a bit bored with the constant social activities, so I’ve been trying to slow that side of life down recently. I’m failing miserably.

3. What’s the best party you’ve been to in the past year, and why?

I have just completed 6 very full days at Sziget festival and while it’s still fresh on my mind I’ll say that one.

4. What’s your favourite drink?

You asked me that 11 years ago and it’s still the same, although there are a lot more choices now, Gin and Tonic with Ice and a slice.

5. What hidden talents do you have?

I enjoy karaoke now and again when I have had a few to drink although no one would say I have a talent.

6. What was the most interesting travel trip you have ever taken?

I don’t travel a lot; I hate to fly. As I haven’t seen much of Hungary, I visited a friend in Pécs recently and enjoyed the change of scenery.

7. If you were given a wish that could come true, what would you ask for?

A healthy long life.

8. What’s the last book you read, and movie you watched?

Book would be “Art Time Capsule” by Anna Gav while helping to proofread it, the launch is coming soon.
The last film I watched was “Bob Marley: One Love” which I found quite disappointing.

9. If someone wrote a biography about you, what would the title be?

We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

10. What is the perfect pizza toppings combination for you?

Chicken, garlic and onions.

11. If you could trade places with any other person for a week, real or fictional, with whom would it be?

Superman

12. On a scale of 1 to 10 how unusual are you, and why?

1, I’m very usual.

13. What’s the best website you’ve ever visited, and why?

ClarkeAndWhite.com because I made it and took every photo except 1 on it.

14. Who do you admire the most, and why?

I really admire my brother-in-law, my sister’s husband. When I was young, he changed my life and led me down a career path which would shape my life for years to come. He was like a farther figure, a teacher and a mentor and I’ll always be grateful for his guidance.

15. What do you like best and least about living in Hungary?

Best: It feels very safe here compared with other parts of the world.
Least: It’s too hot in August.

16. What has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?

A couple of health scares a few years ago made me realise I’m not unbreakable.

17. If you won USD 30 million, what would you do with the money?

I’ll never win it, but I might earn it, and if I do the first thing I would do is buy a few houses in my favourite places. Maybe then reinvest some to pay the bills.

18. If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

“Don’t look back in anger”. Generally, a good motto to have.

19. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

Where I am now.

20 In ten years from now what will you be doing?

Resting after a week at Sziget.
