The cabinet has approved the draft of a new civil code, Justice Ministry state secretary Robert Repassy announced after the cabinet met last week. It was drafted by a legal codification principal commission run by academician Lajos Vekas, he said. After the 2010 change of government the cabinet asked the commission to draft a new civil code, he added.
