A traveling photo exhibition dubbed “Two Nations One Camera (2N1C) Budapest-Ankara” opened in the Várkert Bazar center in the Hungarian capital on Friday. The exhibition shows the two capital cities on 55 images taken by 12 Turkish and Hungarian amateur photographers, the foreign ministry’s deputy state secretary said at the opening.

It might not be obvious but Hungarian and Turkish music history and folk music have a lot in common. This concert presents two excellent Turkish musicians and introduces Turkish music to the audiences. Composed by Ahmed Adnan Saygun, the ‘Bartók of Turkey’ in 1975, Ritual Dance melts elements of Western music and Turkish authentic folk music in a unique way.

The Hungarian capital has been hosting an international theatre exchange as part of the annual Budapest Spring Festival. Around 20 companies from 13 countries have come together to perform and share ideas. The event, organised by the National Theatre, honours the 19th century Hungarian poet and playwright Imre Madách.
