With autumn just around the corner, it signaled the first general meeting of the North American Women's Association (NAWA) year bringing together familiar faces, as well as, some new ones. It was about having some fun and learning about many enjoyable and useful things in Budapest and helpful hints about the Hungarian kitchen.

There is no stopping the North American Women’s Association in their march forward to bring joy and happiness to those in need. During the time I have known this group of women, I have admired their enthusiasm, energy and willing to put a little bit back into society.

Bingo! Yes, that was the feeling. The NAWA invited me to one of their monthly bingo sessions, but it was bingo with a twist. They have come up with a novel idea called ‘adopt a granny’. This is where the children of Miklos School came together with the seniors to play bingo. But first there was the small matter of egg decoration, just in time for Easter.
