Chain Bridge Reopens with a Free Picnic

On Friday, 4 August, the beautifully renovated Chain Bridge reopens in time to mark Budapest’s 150th anniversary as a united city. To celebrate, from 6pm to midnight, the Chain Bridge Picnic brings together live street music, free snacks and children’s activities. After dark, the lights are turned on and the bridge will regain its former glory.
