Like many great things, the idea of the festival was "born in a beer bar under the influence of new wave brewing, international festivals, inspiring brewers, and a decent amount of good beer," say the organisers,

All the events and weekend Tasting Sessions have an 'all you can taste' concept for a fixed price - which is not cheap but is worth it if you're a craft beer fan - followed by live music shows by underground bands and DJs during the afterparties.

This year it's on from 20 to 26 May. Also worth knowing os that there is a free to enter "Sunday Encore Day".
