Grammy Award-winning Cuban-American rapper Pitbull will perform in Hungary for the first time this summer. The global superstar, also known as Mr Worldwide, is scheduled to take the stage at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna on 21 July 2026 as part of his "I’m Back!" European tour.

We had to realize that the festival has become financially unsustainable. In order to avoid greater losses, tonight we had to make the sad and extremely painful decision to cancel it."

The organisers of the Budapest Pride event scheduled for Saturday have failed to coordinate with the police, the communications department of the national police headquarters (ORFK) said on the official website on Thursday, adding: "Organisers will bear responsibility."
