Celebrations, cultural programmes were held nation-wide on Sunday, ahead of the Day of Hungarian Culture marked each year on January 22. In Budapest, celebrations with an exhibition of ceramic artist Zsuzsa Pannonhalmi were organised by the Hungarian Arts Acedmy (MMA) and the Hungarian Civil Cooperation Association at the Danube Palace.

Béla Kása was born in Pécs in 1952 and graduated in photography from the College of Fine Arts in Cologne in 1979.
