Now in its 14th edition, this highly anticipated and perennially successful event brings together embassies of countries from around the world accredited to Hungary, offering a vibrant showcase of culture, diversity, and charity.

The event will take place on Sunday 16 November this year, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bálna National Defence Center.

Visitors are invited to “Discover the World’s Cultures in One Day” through a colourful international marketplace featuring national stalls filled with traditional products, handcrafted goods, souvenirs, and exclusive items from various countries – all in support of a noble cause in Hungary, the organisers say.

Patronage and Distinguished Guests

Held under the patronage of Mrs. Zsuzsanna Nagy, spouse of the President of Hungary, her presence underscores the significance and philanthropic purpose of the event.

Diplomats from numerous embassies, representatives of international organizations, and VIP guests will also attend, reflecting the strong commitment of the international community to humanitarian causes and social responsibility.

Celebration of Cultures

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live cultural performances of traditional music, folk dances, and artistic showcases in a lively and friendly atmosphere – creating an inspiring journey across continents and cultures in a single day.

Popular International Food Corner

Visitors can indulge in a culinary world tour at the popular Food Corner, where embassies present authentic national dishes, traditional specialties, and delicacies from their respective home countries – a true feast for the senses.

Children’s World

The Children’s Corner offers families a warm and engaging environment filled with interactive games, creative workshops, and educational activities that encourage young visitors to appreciate cultural diversity and learn through play – all while having fun.

Exciting Raffle Prizes

Guests can take part in raffle draws throughout the day for a chance to win valuable prizes offered by embassies, businesses, individuals and leading hotels in Budapest – adding extra excitement to a day of giving.

Supporting Hungarian Charities

Faithful to its mission of compassion and goodwill, the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest will donate all proceeds from the Fair to Hungarian charities that support children, families in need, and vulnerable communities — especially as the festive season approaches. 

This year’s beneficiaries include:

-Egymásért Gemma Sportegyesület - Szeged – a foundation who works to improve the cultural life of intellectually disabled children and youth and to build a bridge between healthy and disabled people with equal opportunities.

-Dévai Szent Ferenc Alapítvány - a foundation which is helping children in trouble and difficult situation, offering them school education and daycare.

-Szolnoki Kézműves Körért és a Tisza-mente Népművészetéért Alapítvány – a foundation for preserving regional cultural heritage, traditional craftmanship and folk art.
