“Budapest Airport has switched off electricity at the premises of Budapest Aeroservice,” CEO György Majtány of the flight catering company said. In June 1,500 hectares of GMO corn crop were destroyed by orders of authorities, Népszabadság has learnt. The Montoni type corn imported from Romania by German company Saaten Union was GMO infected. The Rural development Ministry informed all farmers concerned to destroy the crops within three days, by July 1.

The number of new companies registered was 13,100, down from 25,400 one year earlier. The number of companies stood at 640,300 on June 30, 2012.
