Output of Hungary’s automotive industry rose by 13% to 6,600 billion forints (EUR 16.2bn) in the first seven months of the year, the minister of foreign affairs and trade said, adding that there was a “realistic chance” that the sector’s output could reach 10,000 billion forints “in spite of the recession environment”.
