Hundreds gathered in Budapest for a march marking Roma Pride Day for the fifth time on Saturday. Participants marched from central Blaha Lujza Square to Nyugati Railway Station, demanding equal opportunities for the Roma community and chanting slogans such as “Solidarity!”, “Democracy, rule of law, republic!”, “We belong here!”.

Google received 48,941 requests from governments between January and June this year, compared to the approximately 44,000 requests in the same period in 2016.

Danish toymaker Lego plans to expand its base in Nyíregyháza northeastern Hungary, Jesper Hassellund, who heads the company’s local unit, said in an interview in business daily Világgazdaság. “The Lego group set up its manufacturing unit in Nyíregyháza in 2008, and we inaugurated a brand new plant in 2014.
