Debrecen will host a festival of Finish film for the first time between November 8 and 10, the Finish Institute (Finnagora), the organiser announced.

Joulupukki, said to be the real Finnish Santa Claus arrived in Hungary for the 17th time from Lapland.
Audiovisual Installation: Aurora Borealis, Gellért Hill Budapest, 6 December

To celebrate Finland´s 100th year of independence in 2017, an audiovisual installation Aurora Borealis will light up the sky of Budapest between 3 -6 December. Situated in front of the Gellért Hill Waterfall, Aurora Borealis light statue will bring a piece of the magical Northern sky into the middle of wintery darkness.

The original Finnish Santa Claus will come to Hungary for the 17th time this December. Santa Claus, or Joulupukki as Finns call him, flies in all the way from the Lappish town of Rovaniemi (via a Finnair plane and so not with Rudolph).
