Finnish Film Days in Budapest 18-22 February
For 15 years FinnAgora, the Finnish Institute in Budapest, has brought to you the best of contemporary Finnish cinema. This year is no exception. The theme of this year’s festival is: TRANSITIONS. The festival will be organised 18th-22nd of February 2026 at Toldi Mozi.

On this anniversary year, the films selected for the program deal with facing change, whether it be resisting it, fighting for it, or moving forward in different ways – all through a Finnish lens.

As the environment, society, and inner worlds face constant change, some find strength in spirituality and faith in a higher power, while others find it in the creative power of music or through connecting with nature. Some seek relief for their inner turmoil through intoxicants, whereas lucky ones might encounter a friend – or find strength in a community.

Change is inevitable. Do we have a choice in how we face it?
