Audiovisual Installation: Aurora Borealis, Gellért Hill Budapest, 6 December
To celebrate Finland´s 100th year of independence in 2017, an audiovisual installation Aurora Borealis will light up the sky of Budapest between 3 -6 December. Situated in front of the Gellért Hill Waterfall, Aurora Borealis light statue will bring a piece of the magical Northern sky into the middle of wintery darkness.

Media designers of the light statue are media artists László Zsolt Bordos and András Nagy. An accompanying sound atmosphere is created by Kasperi Laine, one of the best known Finnish sound designers.

The installation is produced by the Finnish Institute in Budapest, FinnAgora. The professional partner of the project is Let_it_Be art agency

During the same time frame the Embassy of Finland makes Elizabeth Bridge shine in the blue and white colours of the Finnish flag.
