Ancestors Day, one of Hungary’s largest heritage festivals, will once again take place in the southern village of Bugac from August 8 to 10. The three-day event will feature horseback archery, traditional strength sports, cultural exhibitions, and family-friendly programmes.

The Cered Art Colony, which is 30 years old this year, will celebrate with what they call an ArtPiknik on August 9th. In addition to fine art, visitors will also be treated to local gastro delights, family programs, music concerts and theater productions, Csaba Fürjesi, one of the founders of the art colony, told MTI.
