The Palace of Arts celebrates its 10th birthday with a particularly special series of events between 14-15 March. This spring weekend is the “crowning jewel” in Müpa’s jubilee season, where a cast of artists will take to the stage who have all provided outstanding concert entertainment over the past decade at the region’s leading institution of the performing arts.

The Jewish Summer Festival, which is traditionally held between the last Sunday in August and the first Sunday in September, is celebrating its 15-year jubilee this year. Fifteen years of age means the most beautiful time of adolescence in terms of human lifetime, so besides our classical programmes, we are planning some surprises to further increase the number of our young visitors.

On 31 March, Kossuth Prize-winner Dezső Ránki pianist and the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra close the celebrations at the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest, playing Liszt’s emblematic pieces.
