Étienne Méhul (1763–1817), one of the most significant and influential opera composers during the French revolution and the politically turbulent decades thereafter, wrote some forty works for musical theatre. Enjoying the confidence of his friend and rival Luigi Cherubini, and even of Napoleon, Méhul expanded the range of themes adaptable to the opera genre, enriching its musical landscape.

We are a young choir with members from universities and high schools. Proudly can we state that we are the first Hungarian show choir and working on spreading this genre in the whole country. On our broad repertoire there are songs from musicals, movies, also we sing pop, rock, jazz, Hungarian songs, with our orchestra (piano, guitars, winds), or acapella.

"Dance is an emotional art form. The instrument and messenger is the body of the dancer, expressed through his or her mental and physical effort. The story of Othello staged in a dance performance is an excellent opportunity for both the creator and the dancer. It explores the full spectrum of human emotions, reflected most powerfully through the fatal drama of Othello and Desdemona's true love.
