The British Embassy in Budapest promoted British fashion at GLAMOUR Gardróbfrissítés (GLAMOUR Refresh Your Wardrobe) event in Arena Plaza on 1 December. Mr Griffin’s appointment as Ambassador to Hungary was announced by the Foreign Minister the Hon Kevin Rudd MP, on 12 May 2011. Mr Griffin presented his Credentials to HE Mr Pál Schmidt on 18 August 2011. Since 19 January 2012, Mr Griffin has been Ambassador (non-resident) to Romania.
