Allegedly police have been told people on bikes do sometimes have a 'strong drink' or two, but unless they look unstable peddlers shouldn’t be fined - however caution is strongly advised in that regard. Hungarian hussars were detained in Amal, Sweden on Wednesday after local residents filed a report with the police upon seeing the horses in poor health. The hussars rode from Hungary to Amal and are suspected of covering more than 200 miles without stopping, with scars appearing on the horses’ hoofs and lice on their bodies.
