Hungarian sculptor Gábor Miklós Szőke has been commissioned by Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) on behalf of U.S. NFL team Atlanta Falcons to design and produce a statue depicting the team’s mascot, according to a press release issued.

Japan’s Tomoki Sakata won the 14th Ferenc Liszt International Piano Competition at the Budapest Academy of Music. Russian pianist Sergei Beliavsky won the second prize and the audience’s award, while the third prize went to Germany’s Leon Bernsdorf. Krisztián Kocsis, the only Hungarian competitor, was given the human resources ministry’s special prize.

Naive politics brings trouble,” Orbán said. “Naivety in Brussels is the general state of affairs today, but instead of a showdown, meaningful debates and European unity are necessary alternatives”, he added.
