MA•ZE is the lovechild of dance artists Nagy Emese, Kristóf Várnagy and Jessica Simet. Former creatives of DART dance company, they decided to embark on this journey together in 2016 and share a mutual interest in creating quality work that resonates with and reaches a wide range of audience.

Love'n'go in Budapest last night was dance to remember, in a run-down former art cinema, the setting for this provocative performance, set-up by an intro speech (comical shout, due to the lack of a mic) by director Eva.

"Our last theatre program at the MERLiN: International Dance Day was introduced in 1982 by the International Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute, a UNESCO partner NGO. The date was suggested to also commemorate the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727-1810), the creator of modern ballet.

"The journey began in 1977 as ‘STRADIVARIUS’ with a handful of young music enthusiasts, forming a choral group alongwith a few dancers. The group held its first performance at the Calcutta Television centre (Doordarshan) in ’77, the response was very encouraging, more like-minded youngsters joined and enriched the repertoire with their contribution.
