The memorial wall remembering the Jewish ghetto in Budapest has been inaugurated in Dohány utca, on this wall of remembrance a map introduces the history of the area. The realization of this memorial wall was jointly financed by EMIH Egységes Magyarországi Izraelita Hitközség (Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation) and the Municipality of Erzsébetváros district.

A memorial dedicated to Bulgarian market gardeners was inaugurated in Budapest on Monday. In the late 19th and early 20th century, tens of thousands of Bulgarian market gardeners appeared in Hungary to introduce new vegetables and revolutionise gardening with the application of new irrigation technologies. They played a key role in Hungarian vegetable growing for over a century.

The exhibition area, called BUD Gallery, will primarily be used to accommodate photography exhibitions. In honour of this mass, the Municipality of Budapest has placed a memorial tablet in front of the Museum of Fine Arts. The tablet was blessed by Cardinal Primate dr.
