The number of people and days spent on sick leave both significantly dropped between 2005 and 2013 according to a report by the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The average number of paid time of f for an illness fell from 30 in 2005 to 24 in 2013, KSH said.

Unless a patient sends a written statement to the health insurance authority to bar access to his or her records, doctors will be able to search freely in their personal database, the paper said.
