Pesticide Action Network Europe and the Hungarian Association of Nature Conservators have tested 59 apple samples from 13 countries, including Hungary, and found that multiple pesticide residues were present in almost all conventionally grown fruit.

The weather service, has however, maintained a first-degree alert for some areas in south-eastern Hungary, where further, scattered sleet is expected.
