The first cultural event of the reopening will be the Night of Museums, scheduled to take place on June 26th, the weekend that is the closest to the summer solstice. This year museums will be open to the public once again, with COVID safety measures in mind.

"In 2011 hundreds of concerts, sereval exhibitions, publications and commemorating events were dedicated to Ferenc Liszt, born 200 years ago. Although we could not be present everywhere, we have covered most of the events in narrative or in pictures.

"The vision and creativity of György Kepes (1906-2001) and Frank Malina (19120-1981) are best characterized by the concept of universality expressed through experimentation in art, science, technology and radical innovation. The notions of interdisciplinary philosophy date back to a renaissance synthesis of knowledge drawing a long arc through art history.
'Salvaged Treasures Of Art', Hungarian National Museum, Shown Until 15 August

"Since 1996, senior students have been able to present their thesis works in a museum setting. This year, the title „Salvaged Treasures of Art” refers to the work of 19 seniors, under whose hands paintings, sculptures, furniture and other objects from glass and pottery have been reborn.
