The iconic band had already visited Budapest in 1997 as the performer of the well-known Sziget Festival. This time, the Foo Fighters have confirmed that they will give an all-night long concert at Budapest Arena.

The Zsiráf (Giraffe) Terrace has just opened again in the park in front of the Eiffel Square Office Building, beside a pond with mini-waterfalls. This downtown outdoor venue offers a wide variety of summer events, including exhibitions, fine art fairs, Sunday markets, acoustic concerts and DJ performances.

The strike period, which organizers hope would draw attention to the lack of funding for dentists, would see only emergency services provided at Hungary’s state dentistry offices.
