Depeche Mode Drummer to Perform at Special 101 Hang Tribute Concert in Budapest
Christian Eigner, drummer of Depeche Mode, will also join the 101 Hang - Depeche Mode Special Tribute production on November 27. The Austrian musician will participate in a performance of two Depeche Mode songs accompanied by a symphony orchestra and a male choir.

The agreement was reached after months of careful negotiations, during which Christian Eigner's management learned in detail about the 101 Hang concept, which was also shared with the members of Depeche Mode.

They all considered the project to be a special, fresh approach to paying homage to Depeche Mode's legacy, so the drummer will personally take the stage in the production, the organizers told MTI on Thursday.

The 101 Hang concert will feature 125 performers on stage, including Magdi Rúzsa, Gigi Radics, Anna Pásztor, Szabi Papp, Balázs Fehér, Tamás Molnár, Begi Lotfi, Zsiga Bernathy, Timi Arany and Lili Fehér.

With the participation of the Hungarian Studio Orchestra and the Hungarian National Male Choir, Depeche Mode hits will be performed in symphonic arrangements, such as Enjoy the Silence, Strangelove and Walking in My Shoes.

The announcement highlighted that the visuals are also unique in size: a thousand square meter LED wall, four hundred square meters of moving visual surfaces, and twenty short films will be incorporated into the show, transforming music and visuals into an audiovisual experience.
