Event Report: Street Food Show, Budapest

I was intrigued to find out exactly what street food was on offer this weekend, in downtown Pest, at the historic Hold Street covered market hall. To my surprise, so were many more, who gravitated to this very popular occasion. Held in the elevated part of the market, you could meander around and take your pick at the many different foods and drinks on offer.

On a lovely sunny afternoon in Buda, we went along to the Rosalia Rosé wine festival. In “Gesztenyés kert” and on the terrace of the chic Larus Restaurant, a wide variety of wines, red, white and especially rosés, was waiting for wine-lovers. Big Fish Review: New Quality Seafood Restaurant In Budapest

There are not many things that Budapest and this vibrant city cannot offer. In fact one of the only gripes you can hear from Expats and locals alike is that we miss the sea and being able to get fresh seafood, now all that has changed. Whilst we still live in a land locked country with the arrival of The Big Fish on Andrassy we no longer have to crave the taste of the seas.
