An additional 3000 m2 has been added to the existing 6000 m2 campus with a new secondary wing to accommodate the growing school. Two Korean opera singers open the 1st Korea-Hungary Classical Music Festival with famous opera arias and Korean songs. Yunah Lee, performing frequently at the US opera houses, is broadening her stage to Europe. She is thrilling the audience with “handsomely colored full lyric sound”. The Gabrieli Choir's final concert before the summer break takes place on Friday 10th June at the Herminamezői Szentlélek templom (Bp., XIV., Kassai tér), starting at half past seven. There are four contrasting works on the programme - dating from the 18th to the 21st centuries - and chief of these is a joyful jazz mass: the Mass in Blue by Will Todd (1970- ).

I have the distinct feeling that something is afoot in Hungary, something the self-satisfied Orbán government is not prepared for. I see the beginnings of a movement that may well overcome the current apathy and resignation of Hungarian society and produce active resistance to the Orbán regime.
