Mozart Night-Yang Yoonhee Piano Recital, Korean Cultural Center Budapest, 26 January

Pianist Yang Yoonhee graduated from Seoul National University(Bachelor of Music), Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Berlin(Diplom), and Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Konzertexamen).
She won many competitions, including Wiesbaden International Competition, Verona International Competition, Elise-Meyer Competition. In addition she was the semi-finalist at Clara Haskil International Competition and Maj Lind International Competition where she got the critical acclaim.
She has performed at Korean Cultural Center(Berlin, Germany), Daejeon Arts Center(Korea), Aomori Museum of Art(Japan), Rotary Club Albi(France), Ernst Barlach Haus(Germany), Santander Music Festival(Spain), Musique en Vallée du Tarn Festival(France), and Montepulciano Music Festival(Italy).
Also she performed with prominent musicians, including violist Wolfram Christ, the former principal player of the Berlin Philharmonic, Sine Nomine Quartet and the members of Hamburger Symphoniker.
She received the scholarship from Seoul National University, DAAD from Germany and many foundations such as Oscar und Vera-Ritter Stiftung, Gisela und Erich Andreas Stiftung, Fundación Albéniz and Yehudi Menuhin “Live Music Now.”
She joined the masterclasses by Robert McDonald, Fou Ts‘ong, Akiko Ebi, Piotr Paleczny and Klaus Hellwig, and was taught by famous chamber musicians like Zakhar Bron, Ulf Wallin, Paul Rivinius and Artemis Quartet.
She was the lecturer (Lehrbeauftragter) at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. She was taught by Oh Yoon Joo and Choi Hee Yeon in Korea, and Michael Endres, Fabio Bidini and Evgeni Koroliov in Germany.
