Inter-city bus operator Volánbusz announced that the police are going to check compliance with public safety measures, among them mask wearing, from next week, as more and more passengers are travelling without masks these days.

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Mr. Mayor Gergely Karácsony has ordered that either a mask or a kerchief or a scarf covering the mouth and nose be worn onboard Budapest’s public transport vehicles from 27 April 2020.

Grew up in Santa Barbara California, doing a stint in the United States Air Force where they discovered I was better suited for other activities. Moved to Beverly Hills to go to college, graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1985 whereupon I moved to Stockholm for, what was meant to be, a 2 year visit. Well, here I am still traveling the world.
