Police To Check Mask-Wearing On Volanbusz Inter-City Buses
Inter-city bus operator Volánbusz announced that the police are going to check compliance with public safety measures, among them mask wearing, from next week, as more and more passengers are travelling without masks these days.

The statement noted that it is compulsory to wear a mask or a scarf covering the face and nose on public transport vehicles to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The company has introduced other safety measures on its vehicles, such as installing hand disinfection stations on buses and regular disinfection of vehicles.

Volánbusz continues to ask its passengers to keep the 1.5-metre safety distance, prefer electronic ticket purchases and wear a mask or scarf covering the nose and face while on buses.
