More than half of young people save on a monthly basis in Hungary, but they have a completely different priority list to their European counterparts in terms of savings, a report by credit management services firm Intrum Justitia reveals.

This annual festival featuring 250 types of spiced up meat will be held at the Hungarian Railway Museum this year. As well as lots of porky specials available along several 'Sausage Streets', there will be family programs, folklore shows, 'nostalgic music programs' and dance, plus apparently presentations of enormous sausages, during this three day special Hungarian gastro event.

The opposition Socialist Party said it would cut back on its parliamentary activity until next year’s general election. Socialist group leader Bertalan Tóth told reporters that his party would not initiate parliamentary debate sessions, turn to the president or the Constitutional Court and would even boycott five-party talks between now and the election.
