In another win for the digitalization of Hungarian administration, the pink social security booklet is finally being abolished as of January 2026. The information it contains is now safely managed by various government agencies, so the booklet has been redundant for some time. Instead, a new online platform will be created where employers can still check data if that is relevant to them.
