Every year at the very height of summer, the world’s greatest racing drivers and the Grand Prix circus around them descend on Budapest to take the Hungaroring track and the city’s hotel bars by storm. It’s always impossibly hot but everybody seems to have great time, both at the circuit at Mogyoród just outside Budapest and in town.
Vivicitta Spring Half Marathon in Budapest, 26 - 27 March

The Vivicitta Spring Half Marathon is part of a 2-day long event all about running. On Sunday runners can choose between a half marathon (21 km) individually or in team of 2 or 3 or a Vivicitta (10 km) an Midicitta (7 km) while on Saturday the focus is on shorter distances for the less experienced runners.

The young white hope of the Hungarian professional boxing, Norbert Nemesapáti (8 wins, 0 defeats) under the patronage of the WBC (World Boxing Council) had his first boxing match. The 18 year-old sportsman was boxing against Michal Nieroda for the ‘Youth Silver’ belt.
