So far his Klezmer line-ups were groups he put together himself and had them following his sound concepts. In Gitanes Blondes for the first time he met a grown band with their own particular handwriting – in Giora Feidman’s opinon the best Klezmer group, no doubt, he encountered so far.

Hungarian navigation software developer NNG, which makes the iGO application, will open a development centre in Szeged (S Hungary) in the autumn, chairman David Wiernik announced. NNG will hire 200 people, mainly programmers, to staff the centre, Wiernik said.

Sziget Festival has attracted a record weekly crowd of 415 000 this year. Passes were sold out already before the start of the event and on Thursday there was full house with 85 000 fans on the island. The festival keeps on using the ‘Island of Freedom’ as its slogan and even more efforts were put into the improvement of the visual experience around the festival site.
