It is a light, cherry red colour wine, both the special scent and flavour of which bear the richness of the aroma and flavour originated from its ageing. It tastes like ripe cherry and other summer fruits of red colour, together with some vanilla, which are all characteristic of the grapes themselves. Combined, they give the wine a delicate feature.

The government has no problem with the 60,000 or so civil society organisations (CSO) operating in Hungary but it does object to “socalled NGOs that try to prove they are real civil organisations”, the government spokesman said in an interview to the daily Magyar Hírlap.

For the first time in several decades, Hungarian works of art, ones by Tibor Hajas and Attila Csörgő, will feature at the central exhibition of the Venice Biennale, starting on May 13, organisers told a press briefing on Tuesday. The Hungarian pavilion will host the work of Gyula Várnai, curated by Zsolt Petrányi, titled “Peace on Earth!”, state secretary for culture Péter Hoppál said.
