Budapest Contemporary Jewelry Week - Exhibitions & Performances
- 29 Oct 2025 2:45 PM
This year's event will focus on Hungarian jewelry designers, recalling their beginnings. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions, guided tours, and discussions at numerous locations in Budapest.
The program also includes professional workshops and lectures.
A wide range of jewelry will be on display in the framework of individual or group exhibitions. During the program series, the public can view more than 25 exhibitions by almost 100 artists.
Professional workshops and lectures are organized by the participating jewelry designers, who also hold guided tours, classes, and performances on a variety of topics.
Among the programs, the FISE Gallery will host an exhibition of the founding members of the Jewelry Week, the Porcelain Palace will showcase the latest porcelain jewelry collection of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, and the FUGA Architecture Center will host an exhibition examining the relationship between female existence and nature by three jewelry designers - Janka Kreisz, Veró Lázár and Orsi Padányi.
The Foncière Budapest Studio will be transformed into an international meeting place for the duration of the Jewelry Week: in addition to the Hungarian participants, interested parties will be able to see the works of Taiwanese, French and Italian jewelry designers.
The Goldsmiths' Crafts History Collection welcomes visitors with a group jewelry exhibition and a lecture by goldsmith Zoltán Tóth, a teacher at MOME.
Those interested can also visit a studio apartment, where they can see the jewelry made of special reflective surfaces by the two exhibitors, Eszter Sára Kocsor and the hammered copper objects by Sarolt Sógor, gaining insight into the creative processes.
