The band’s leader, guitarist Norbert Szakáll, has been an active figure in the Hungarian jazz scene since the early 1990s.

Throughout his career, he has performed in numerous national and international formations and collaborated with some of the genre’s most outstanding artists. The quartet, founded in 2022, takes the stage in a renewed line-up, now joined by two young talents.

Their program features lyrical pieces from their 2023 album Eszter kertje, as well as compositions from their latest work, Pygmalion.

Built around original compositions, the concert presents a refined, melody-centered and improvisation-driven approach to contemporary mainstream jazz.
