America Day In Sopron

"On March 22nd “Handler Nandor” Vocational High School hosted an event titled “America Day in Sopron”. Representing the Embassy at the day-long event were Management Counselor Paul Gilmer, the Regional English Language Officer Lisa Harshbarger, and Cultural Assistant Kati Bíró.
The Vice Mayor of Sopron welcomed the guests, and after the opening speech of the School Principal, Mr. Gilmer gave a presentation to more than sixty students on U.S.-Hungarian relations, the operation of the Embassy, its goals and also on his own career.
Splitting into working groups, Ms. Harshbarger informed teachers about the Embassy sponsored summer camp programs, and Ms. Bíró lectured the students on resume writing techniques and the possibilities of undergraduate studies in the United States."
