'Critical Mass Earth Day Bycicle Ride', Budapest, 24 April
"On April 24, 2010, Critical Mass Budapest will again organize a large scale ride to promote and celebrate bicycling, and to raise awareness about the mass demand for better conditions represented by bicyclists, who choose this environmentally friendly form of transport as an alternative to motor vehicles.

DATE: Saturday, April 24, 2010
TIME: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Starting Point: Roosevelt tér, 5th District; End Point: Városliget (City Park)

Bike lift at 5:30 PM

ROUTE: Please see Route Map here (Lánchíd, Alagút, Attila út, Krisztina krt., Erzsébet híd, Március 15. tér, Pesti alsó rakpart, Kossuth tér, Alkotmány utca, Szemere utca, Szent István krt., Teréz krt., Oktogon, Andrássy út, Városliget - Napozórét).

IMPORTANT: Given that this is our yearly celebration ride (as opposed to a traffic ride, such as the one on Car Free Day), the route will be closed from car traffic, therefore all ages are welcome. However, it is important that participants do not ride on sidewalks, tramway tracks, and that they follow the instructions of CM organisers wearing green shirts.

Please also observe the campaign silence, which will be in place in Hungary at that time, and refrain from carrying any political advertisements."
