Fourth Budapest Metro Line Drilling Ahead
"A drill boring one of two parallel tunnels for Budapest’s fourth metro line has arrived at what will be the penultimate station on the eastbound line, Népszínház utca, project manager DBR Metro announced on Monday.

If drillers, the Bamco consortium, can keep up the current pace, the drill could arrive at Keleti train station, the planned terminus, by the middle of June.

The drill started out from Rákóczi tér station on March 8 and took five weeks to cover the 450 metres to Népszínház utca. The drill boring the parallel tunnel started out a few days later."
