New Car Registrations Rise in Hungary - Especially Hybrids
The number of new passenger car registrations in Hungary rose 5pc year-on-year to 19,700 in January-February, data compiled by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) show.

Hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for 55pc of sales, cars with petrol engines made up 24pc and vehicles with diesel engines 14pc. Fully-electric vehicles accounted for 6pc of sales.

Sales of battery electric vehicles climbed 12pc to 1,253 during the period.
