Time Out Budapest and XpatLoop.com invite you to a Budapest Food & Libation Society event at Pastrami Restaurant on Tuesday 18 May at 7pm. Premium, seasonal ingredients are the star of the show, which will highlight the quality of Hungarian food and drink. Moderator Mark McMenemy will be joined by a panel of well known local gourmets.
Menu:
Smoked trout with dill and fresh asparagus
Green-pea-soup with freshly harvested carrots
Forrest mushrooms with traditional Transylvanian cottage-cheese dumplings
Grilled catfish /or pork with sorrel sauce and potatoes baked on a bed of onions
Traditional Transylvanian 'orda' with strawberry sauce
Served with a choice of quality Hungarian wines and spirits, including a complementary glass of wine and a complementary pálinka.
Fee: Ft 6,000 per person
