Urbitális2010 - The Big Budapest Gig, Until 31 May

"The Urbitális metropolitan festival has been organised in Budapest every May for three years, where civilians, town and environment protection activists and culture makers await the other urban residents with their performances organised at exciting and unusual venues. Talk sessions at cemetaries, railway station dance house, culture pub nights – only now and only with you.
Urbitális2010 is for civilians and young people who love the town: The opening party of the Night of Culture Pubs (30 April) awaits "kids of the night" with a special programme, later with Pesti Esti Grillezés (Evening Grill Party in Pest) on 6 May, May Parade on Water (15 May) with fair, stage shows, concerts, singers, dancers, games for children, rowing races, young directors’ short film festival and – for everyone’s joy - Mosoly Kommandó (Smile Commando) will also turn up on 28-29 May.
This year’s urban festival will also offer exciting events at special places: cemetery, landing stage, house roof and subway. Yeah, it’s true: expert urbanists will organise a town tour even on top of Hungary's biggest block of flats (Békásmegyer Faluház) (21 May).
