Rick Astley, Kim Wilde & Co. Concert In Budapest, 2 October
"The biggest pop icons of the 80’s arrive in Hungary this autumn to evoke the greatest hits of the period at the first weekend of October within the framework of an almost three-hour super concert in the Sports Arena.

The “Here and Now” concert will be held on the first Saturday of October with Nik Kershaw, Paul Young, Kim Wilde, Boy George and Rick Astley, who will perform their greatest songs, among others I Won’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Everytime You Go Away, You Keep Me Hangin’ On, Never Gone Give You Up and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me.

The mega concert will be hosted by the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena.

As a member of the illustrious group, one of the most popular stars of the eighties, Rick Astley – the performer of the evergreen song Never Gonna Give You Up – will perform in Hungary for the first time. It is a well-known fact that Richard Paul “Rick” Astley, who becomes 44 this year, has been suffering from a fear of flying since the 80's, when he was touring in the United States, and since then he is only willing to travel by plane just once or twice a year. It is therefore an exceptional occasion that we can welcome the star in Budapest, who received the Best Artist of All Times Award from his fans in 2008 at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The pop icon, who will come out with a new single this year after 17 years, occupied the top place of the charts in 16 countries with his hit Never Gonna Give You Up, with 15.2 million records sold in the United Kingdom. During his career, Astley has sold more than 40 million records, and he is the only British solo singer whose first eight singles reached the Top 10 in England.

Standing and seated tickets are also available for HUF 9,900, HUF 16,900 and HUF 23,900 at the national ticket offices of the Arena and Interticket, or they can be ordered online at the www.interticket.hu and www.ticketa.hu websites.

You can find more information about the event at the website www.hereandnow.hu, where you can have a taste of the possible atmosphere of the party in October with the help of concert recordings and video clips."
